Welcome to my Studio Journal blog!
My name is Bob Cornelis and I have been an active artist for the past 30 years. My intention with this blog is to engage more deeply with others about topics related to my art practice. I hope you will enjoy my posts and perhaps add comments on occasion if something sparks your interest. I’ve always felt having a conversation about art is as important as (more important?) than selling it.
My posts will have different types of content in them. Some will be sharing work I’ve done in the past or am working on now with commentary on objectives, challenges, discoveries I’ve had while doing the work. Some posts will be process oriented, sharing specific techniques and materials that I’ve had success with (or not). And sometimes the topic will be more general or philosophical on concepts of creativity, art making, etc.
